Brief Introduction Of Technical Requirements For Rainproof Performance Of Clothing

GB/T 23330-2009 "technical requirements for rainproof performance of garments" has been made by National Quality The General Administration of inspection and quarantine and the State Administration of standardization have approved the release, and will be implemented in January 1, 2010. The standard specifies the requirements, test methods and rain proof signs for shielding rainwater, such as rain and snow, fog and ground moisture. References, terms and definitions (moisture resistance, water penetration resistance, outer fabrics, lining, insulation lining, lining).

This standard is modified to adopt European standard BS EN 343:2003 "requirements for rainproof performance of protective clothing" (English version).

The main differences between the standard and the English version of BS EN 343:2003 are as follows:

1, revised the standard name;

2, revised the scope of the standard;

3, the international and foreign standards in the normative citation documents should be replaced by corresponding national and industrial standards.

4, delete the normative reference document EN 388. Because BS EN 343 only refers to the abrasive specifications in EN 388, according to the actual situation of our country, the abrasive specified in FZ/T 01011 is used instead of the abrasive specified in EN 388.

5. Replace EN 340 with GB/T 20097, but exclude 4.2 of EN 340's security requirements. PH value, sweat color fastness and decomposable aromatic amine dyes have been specified in GB 18401 national textile product basic safety technical specification. The six valence chromium content and nickel content are not mandatory in China, so this standard does not require additional requirements.

6, the sixth chapter of BS EN 343:2003 is modified, and GB/T 1335 is used for dimensioning.

7, delete the normative citation EN ISO 13934-1, which has been stipulated in the national standard HG/T 2580.

8, delete the eighth chapter "BS EN 343:2003" information provided by the manufacturer, because it has nothing to do with the technical content of this standard.

9, based on the production status of rain proof fabrics in China, the "tear resistance" index of outer fabrics is changed from 25N to 18N.
