Fire In A Shoe Factory In Chaozhou

At about half past two yesterday afternoon, a shoe factory in phosphorus Town, Chaozhou, had a fire. After nearly one hour's firefighting, the fire was extinguished.

On the Hanjiang Bridge, the reporters saw the black smoke rising in the direction of phosphorus stream. When reporters arrived at the fire factory, the scene was filled with thick smoke and pungent plastic scorching smell.

Reporters saw the fire on the roof of the shoe factory on the roof of the third floor, and firefighters were fighting for help.

It is understood that at about half past two pm, flames began to emerge on the third floor of the rooftop.

Because rooftop is a temporary iron shed, there are still a lot of piled goods, and the fire has been burning fiercely by the wind.

It is understood that because of the burning of some chemical materials, the smoke produced by combustion is very toxic.

After nearly an hour's rescue, the fire was extinguished.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
