Vietnam?

According to the Vietnam Economic and Trade Information Center affiliated to Vietnam's Ministry of industry and trade, the depreciation of the US dollar caused many Vietnamese export enterprises to get into trouble and had to consider improving export prices and reducing employees so as to save money and reduce losses.

Vietnam's cashew export association said that the depreciation of the US dollar has caused about 10 million loss to local cashew exporters, and Donna food company, an important member of cashew export association, expects to lay off 2000 people this year. Meanwhile, it will increase imports of equipment to improve efficiency.

The famous leather and leather products exporters, Xi Du leather products company, said that if the company fulfilled the export contract of 15 million dollars, it would lose about 6 million dollars.

The vice president of Vietnam Textile Group said that the depreciation of the US dollar has caused the most serious impact on Vietnamese textile enterprises, because Vietnam's main export market is the United States, accounting for 60% of Vietnam's textile exports. For this reason, enterprises in the group are considering reducing expenditure, including the reduction of personnel.

Like the textile industry, Vietnam's aquatic products, pepper, rubber and other industries are also considering reducing export and disarmament.
