US Textile And Clothing Imports Increased In August

according to the US Department of Commerce's < a target= "_blank" href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/" > textile < /a > and a target= "_blank" href= "_blank" > clothing > Office (data), recent data show that in August this year, the total import volume of textiles and clothing in the United States increased by 7%, equivalent to 5 billion 390 million square meters of fabric. 
In the same month, the United States imported large quantities of textile and clothing from Asia, of which China remained the largest supplier of textiles and clothing to the United States, and exports to the United States increased by 10.4% to 2 billion 800 million square meters. In the first 8 months of 2013, 2013, the total import volume of garments in the United States was increased by 3.8%, and the total volume of clothing imports increased by 3.8%, reaching 37 billion 500 million square meters. The import of textiles increased by 2.2% to 21 billion square meters, and the import garments increased 5.8% to 16 billion 500 million square meters.
