The Korea International Textile Exhibition was held in 2000 by the Federation of Korean fiber industries, officially supported by the Ministry of energy and Commerce of Korea and the Korea investment and Trade Promotion Committee.

Each year, it has been added to the two session since 2002. It was held in Seoul, South Korea's trade center and Daegu, a fiber industrial base.

After years of careful cultivation and development, the exhibition has become one of the few professional textile exhibitions in Asia.

In 2014, there were more than 300 exhibitors and more than 400 exhibitors. Many textile industry symposiums and costumes show were held in the same period. The visitors were mainly from trade companies, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and purchasing offices from Korea, China, the United States, Japan, Vietnam, the former Soviet Union, Mongolia, Hongkong, Eastern Europe and other countries and regions.

Chinese enterprises have participated in the exhibition for fourteen years. In the past, grey fabrics, silk, printing and dyeing fabrics, polyester / cotton fabrics, jacquard fabrics, yarns and microfibrils were exhibited.
